SUMMARY:DREAM EXPLORATION WITH GAYLE TORRES
DESCRIPTION:Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud recounted their dreams to one another. Jung called dreams "a little hidden window to the soul." You are invited to bring a dream or a piece of a dream and work with it. No experience is necessary\, only curiosity. Is required.\n\nFor those who explore a little bit of their dream life\, the benefits are many: blood pressure is lowered\, endorphins (the happy hormones) are released and one's sense of well-being increases.\n\nUsing simple visual materials such as watercolor and/or colored pencils\, you will make your own image to help bring you back into the dream. The purpose is not to completely "analyze" your dream\, but to nudge possible associations and activate wisdom about your inner voice. Artistic talent or experience is not required.\n\nParticipants will receive guidance about different aspects of dreams. A slim dream journal will be provided for future use. All materials are provided.\n\nWHEN:\n\nSaturday\, February 24th from 11:00am-1:00pm\n\nINVESTMENT:\n\n$28\n\nABOUT THE TEACHER:\n\nGayle Torres is an artist\, board-certified Art Therapist who has had a life-long fascination with dreams. She has conducted dream groups for over 5 years and have been a conference presenter at the International Association for the Study of Dreams in Arizona and the Natural Spirituality Gathering in Georgia.
