SUMMARY:INTRODUCTION TO SOULCOLLAGE WITH GAYLE TORRES
DESCRIPTION:Discover your wisdom. Change your world.  \n\nSoulCollage is an expressive and intuitive collage process. Participants select images to make a one-of-a-kind collage. Images are taken from magazines\, handmade papers and other sources. Through reflective questions posed by the facilitator\, a person discovers ways their collage reflects often undervalued facets of themselves. Results often bring surprise but will always offer insights into one's life journey. No art experience is necessary.\n\nSoulCollage was founded by Seena Frost\, a psychoanalyst\, mother of four\, theologian who also studied Divinity at Yale.\n\nEach card can stand alone. When SoulCollagers make more cards\, they become a part of one's larger deck\, expanding self-understanding. In this workshop\, participants will create two cards and receive materials to produce another card alone.\n\nYou are welcome to bring lunch. Snacks and light beverages will be served.\n\nWHEN:\n\nFriday\, February 23rd from 10:00am-1:30pm\n\nINVESTMENT:\n\n$60\n\nABOUT THE TEACHER:\n\nGayle Torres is a Board-certified art therapist and trained SoulCollage Facilitator with over 15 years' experience working in clinical and wellness settings. She has been a presenter at the national Expressive Therapy Summit.
